What a Sunday afternoon! After groups we decided to do a little “protecting the citizens of Stafford County” work, and drove to a few close by calls that were overheard on the scanner. :-) 2 brush fires & 1 domestic altercation. WooWho! Just as we were finishing up cleaning NSCofC (our normal Sunday ritual) Laurie begins banging on the front doors (where she was doing a WONDERFUL job windex-ing) and proceeds to yell at me: “Call 911!” Right out front of the bldn’ on Shelton Shop a motorcycle looses control and does a couple flips before landing in the nearby neighbors yard. Needless to say, we were shocked! Couple minutes later Station 14 shows up (due to my heroic call to 911) and checks out the scene. All is well & OK. Phew. The bike is gone…but the individual wearing the proper attire is spared. After about 30min both units went back in service, we locked the building doors and headed off home. All in a days work. ;-)
